SHIMANO 16 Plays 3000

The basic model of Shimano electric reels, the standard size Plays 3000, has finally been redesigned with the MUTEKI MOTOR. It boasts a Shimano winding force of 50kg, a winding endurance of 6kg, which is 120% higher than the previous model, and a maximum drag force that has been significantly increased to 15kg. In addition, the Fire Mach system boasts high spool free performance, the Rakuraku mode/constant speed mode of the electric winding function that can be selected according to the purpose, the Fukase mode that is convenient for full Fukase fishing, and the Find Dot LCD, a dot liquid crystal display with excellent visibility and operability, have been newly adopted. The power and functions that surpass the basic framework have made it possible to take over the role that was once played by the Force Master, and it has taken an important position that will change the world of electric reels from the very beginning.

However, maintaining spool-free performance is somewhat more difficult than with a "spool-out motor" that does not have a motor built into the spool. This is where the Fire Mach System comes into play. By placing the SA-RB bearings in the right place, it has achieved a high level of free performance for an electric reel with a spool-in motor, rotating with a load of just 3g.

Fukase mode
