Field Tester Review

Tester A

My initial impression of this product was that it was very soft. The more I tightened the knot, the firmer it felt, and I realized it was as strong as high-quality line. However, while it was strong if I tightened it properly, the surface of the line often got crushed, so it’s important to tighten it slowly.

Tester B

It is certainly a soft type, but it has a firm core and is easy to handle.

Tester C

Because it is the softest in the series, it seems that it will be able to be easily eaten by both black porgy and grey porgy, even in situations where the fish are not biting, leading to a hit.

If the No. 2 line has not had the hook swallowed, it is strong enough to safely and forcefully reel in even a strong-pushing longtail sea bream (50 cm class).

Tester D

I didn’t feel that the tip strength was strong or long-lasting when catching a lot of fish, so I’m a little worried about using it in tournaments, but I think it’s a line that is easy to use and has no problems when used on normal fishing trips.

There are some disadvantages to being soft, so it is necessary to check for scratches frequently.

Tester E

It works well with the main line, is easy to tie, and looks good. However, although it is easy to tighten when tying to the hook, there were times when it would not tighten enough, so it is inferior in that respect to the Black Stream and other lines.

Tester F

Although the name sounds strong, the feel when used is very delicate, which creates a contrast.

This is the softest line we have ever used, and the fish can touch it without any discomfort, so it quickly adapts to the line.

When a fish is hooked, the line has elasticity and stretches, so it gets tired with each thrust and comes closer.

Tester G

This softness is something I personally really like.

It’s soft but has decent tensile strength, which I think is good.

Compared to the V Hard, it does feel a bit weaker in terms of friction, but I don’t think there will be any problems if you pull it straight.

Tester H

The direct connection and the knotted part of the hook will not break, so you can enjoy fishing without feeling any stress.

As expected, it was soft, so it bit perfectly and I was able to enjoy catching a lot of large sea bream.

Tester I

While fishing for black porgy, I dropped a weight into deep water and let the line float, when a 51cm black porgy took the bait.

Sea bream have a hard time biting once the rig is set up, but I think the flexibility of this line allowed it to adapt well.

Tester J

When I pulled it off the spool for the first time, I was impressed by the flexibility of the fluorocarbon, which didn’t feel stiff.

After hooking it with a 1.5 size lure, the sea bream tried to dive into a groove on the seabed. I felt the line hitting the bottom, but I held on and managed to catch three sea bream up to 46.5cm long.

Tester K

When using a long line with a float threaded through it, the stiff line can sometimes be difficult to use due to weather and tide movements.

For example, when fishing from the front in a side current, the float may curve sharply to the rod tip, delaying the transmission of the bite and causing you to miss the bite. The soft Beast line is an excellent product that can flexibly respond to this by guiding the rod tip in the shortest distance from the float.
