The Magnum Light Spool IV uses a reverse tapered spool shape to create a well-balanced line winding shape. The new Aldebaran DC has succeeded in installing a DC brake on a small diameter spool. This brake system allows for 15 fine brake adjustments by combining a mode dial with three settings: L (Low), M (Medium), and H (High), and a brake dial with five settings. By matching with a small diameter spool with low rotational inertia after winding, clear and simple settings are possible regardless of the type of line. The ability to respond to situations that were previously difficult to adjust, such as intentionally reducing the amount of line stock on the spool, has also evolved significantly. It can respond to various situations and draw a low, flexible trajectory. That trajectory is the true essence of the new Aldebaran DC.
