All four new Despina items are equipped with HAGANE gears made with precision cold forging technology, evolving into a stronger heart. The HAGANE body and unique waterproof mechanism/core protect firmly protect the quality of rotation. The lever brake has a new streamlined shape that improves operability and has an edgy design. The adoption of the Magnum Light Rotor also improves the initial response of rotation. And while aiming for these performance improvements, we have achieved a 15g weight reduction (compared to the 2500DHG) from the previous model. In addition, we have added a new TYPE-G with a Gori-wrap specification that was previously available in the higher-end model lineup. You can also enjoy a head-on battle with a tough opponent such as a large long-tailed tuna at close range.

HAGANE Gear
The tooth surface of the drive gear is formed by precision cold forging technology from the tip to the base. The strength of the gear has been increased by 230% (compared to our company) from the zinc die-cast gear used in the previous model (excluding the Despina XG model). Maintains the high performance it has when you take it out of the box for a long time.

Core Protect
The newly installed Core Protect is a waterproof mechanism unique to the system. It has a water-repellent treatment (polka dot effect) that forms water droplets to repel water, blocking the intrusion of water and foreign objects into the line roller. It prevents water from entering the front of the body, as well as the sides and back, and maintains the initial rotation performance for a long time.
