The "Metanium Series" has been pursuing the possibilities of baitcasting reels with advanced mechanisms such as micro module gears, X-SHIP, and S3D spools, and the "NEW Metanium DC" equipped with the newly developed I-DC5 has been added. The I-DC5 is an innovative digital control brake system with an internal dial with three modes that can be selected by line (nylon, fluoro, PE), and an external dial with four volumes of semi-auto and full auto that can be selected by the weight of the lure. By replacing the magnet, which was previously assembled, with a one-piece 4-pole magnetized ring magnet, the effective magnetic surface area has been increased. Not only has the braking force increased by about 30%, but by providing a momentary no-brake zone immediately after release, the maximum rotation speed has increased by about 12%, making it possible to perform long casts that are both flexible and stable.
