Based on M. TANNO’s own experience targeting 100 kg–class Pacific bluefin tuna, the TUNA Shot72 was developed as a dedicated casting rod for giant tuna.

Inheriting the flexible tip of the TUNA Shot75, it offers excellent control of large pencil lures and provides the accuracy needed to drive casts precisely into your target zone.

Combined with a powerful butt and belly section, the rod allows anglers to confidently lift the rod high and apply strong pumping pressure during the fight—stopping the powerful runs of large tuna and maintaining control throughout the battle.

It delivers maximum performance with PE #12 line, making it an essential rod for targeting tuna during the summer to early autumn dolphin (mahi-mahi) pattern season.
