The Epixor XT is Okuma's latest spinning reel design rod, with a patented TCA Torsion Control Armor body and C-40X carbon fiber material for a stronger and lighter structure.

TCA: Torsion Control Armor
The newly designed body (TCA) is designed for durability, so you can use it for multiple fishing trips without feeling any loss of performance. TCA™ provides a highly rigid body and prevents body deformation due to external pressure. The proprietary TCA™ is 25% stronger than the conventional one-sided body structure, and can withstand momentary strong impacts and strong pulls from fish while maintaining the rigidity of the body. By preventing body deformation, the internal drive function maintains smooth rotation, achieving efficient rotation.

C-40X: Lightweight Carbon Body
Okuma's proprietary C-40X carbon fiber material is a mixture of proprietary graphite polymers. The carbon fiber mixed with graphite polymers is reinforced and maximized in strength as a composite graphite. Compared to products using conventional reinforced plastic materials, the Epixor XT uses C-40X, which reduces weight by 25% and improves rigidity by 1.5 times.

CFR: Cyclonic Flow Rotor
The Cyclonic Flow Rotor is excellent for significantly reducing weight and improving stable rotation efficiency due to its bold cut shape. In addition, the rotor shape allows it to take in the surrounding airflow during rotation and quickly expel water droplets inside the reel, providing an anti-rust effect.

CDB: Centrifugal Disc Bail
The Centrifugal Disc Bail uses a copper-plated chrome counterbalance disc system to optimize rotor balance. Conventional zinc alloy materials could not prevent scratches and rust. It also prevents rust caused by static electricity due to line friction.

Progressive Drag
Our progressive drag uses 1-K carbon to reduce weight and allows for more precise drag adjustment. The progressive drag allows the angler to set the drag to suit the target fish and fishing scene, and by making fine drag settings, the angler can take the lead even when fighting with a large fish.
