Carbon handle arm & lightweight EVA knob
Advanced carbon material is used for the handle arm, improving the lightness when reeling. The aggressive look tickles the sense of ownership.
Equipped with a flat handle knob made of lightweight and easy-to-grip EVA material. EVA material is non-slip and allows for secure gripping and retrieval even in rainy weather.

DLC-coated EFRII line roller
In order to accommodate the wide variety of lines used in recent years, DLC, a diamond-like carbon coating that is also used inside automobile engines, is used for the EFR line roller to suppress line twist. Achieves trouble-free operation and improved durability.

Frictionless main shaft design
By reducing contact between the main shaft and the inside of the pinion gear, frictional resistance under high load is reduced. Achieves smooth winding without changing the support of the conventional main shaft.

HDG-II: Large Diameter High Density Gearing II
Okuma's proprietary high density gearing II incorporates a very strong alloy composition with a special anti-corrosion coating process. The gears are about 7% larger in diameter than the standard product, which has succeeded in further improving strength and durability.

Multi-disc carbon fiber drag system
The carbon drag uses multi-discs, which allows for smooth start and fine setting.
In addition, a hydroblock gasket is used to prevent moisture from entering the drag. This allows the drag to continue moving smoothly.

Gearing stabilization design
By supporting both ends of the tooth surface where the load of the pinion gear is concentrated with ball bearings, smooth winding and durability have been improved.
