The WILDSIDE HP spinning series is a complete evolution of the popular original WILDSIDE lineup, rebuilt with advanced materials, updated construction techniques, and refined Legitness Design rod engineering. With the increasing adoption of fine-diameter PE lines, the blank characteristics have been re-examined to properly support the sensitivity and zero-stretch properties of PE. Through optimized aramid reinforcement placement tailored to each model, these rods deliver sharp response and crisp recovery while maintaining a supple, powerful backbone.

Rather than focusing solely on stiffness and lightness—traits often over-emphasized in bass spinning rods—Legit Design pursues a rod that “simply catches fish.” A rod that performs intuitively and without stress, becoming an extension of the angler’s technique. WHPS61UL – Light Rig Versatile Spinning

A universal light-rig rod suited for everything from reservoirs to big lakes, ideal for downshots, jig-head wacky rigs, and other finesse techniques. The tubular blank delivers crisp response while maintaining snag-resistant tip control, allowing you to work rigs carefully without excessive sticking in cover. Designed with a slightly more moderate character, it pairs exceptionally well with PE lines. Aramid reinforcement in the butt section provides the strength needed to handle big fish despite its ultralight rating. The WHPS61UL offers forgiving range in sinker weights and worm sizes, making it a dependable core rod for finesse presentations.

• Blank Design

Aramid reinforcement is optimized primarily in the butt section, supporting increased PE line usage. A slightly more regular and supple taper is applied. Premium Torayca® T1100G and M40X carbon fibers are combined with multi-modulus construction for precise performance tuning unique to Legit Design.
