The SKUAD VERTICAL CONTACT series was born from a passionate request by Captain Kumo of the popular charter boat F-CLOUD:

“I never want to miss that tiny tick in deep water.”

That single statement shaped the entire concept behind this rod.

Built around 24t and 30t carbon, with advanced materials such as T1100G, M40X, and strategically placed glass fibers, the fully redesigned dedicated blank never falls silent — even when loaded with a 30-go sinker.

Under heavy current pressure, it amplifies the very first touch of an aji and transmits it directly to the angler’s hand.

The tubular tip and vivid fluorescent yellow tip section were not chosen simply for visibility.
