Zaion is a high-modulus graphite material that is incredibly strong. It allows you to create lightweight, but surprisingly strong reels. The strength of Zaion is comparable to magnesium. Zaion is 20% stronger than the Nylon/ABS material traditionally used to create reels. Zaion is about 50% lighter than aluminum.
