DAIWA 20 Luvias LT4000-C

The third ZAION monocoque body following magnesium and aluminum.
The largest diameter Tough Digigear is enclosed in a lightweight, compact housing.
The 20LUVIAS further evolves Digigear II and uses the "Tough Digigear" that keeps the rotation smoother for longer. It achieves infinitely noiseless rotation.

The waterproof structure shuts out seawater and dust by creating a wall of magnetic oil in the gap between the body and rotor. The body and rotor are non-contact, so the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining the light and smooth rotation. Most of the causes of abnormal rotation noise are salt and foreign matter. Of course, some of these are caused by accidentally dropping the reel in water, but apart from such cases, the rate of abnormal rotation noise in mag-sealed reels has been greatly reduced.

Moreover, the longer the time has passed since the introduction of mag-seal, the greater the difference in this ratio is becoming apparent in the data. This means that the longer you use it, the more effective it becomes. In other words, it proves that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of mag-seal are at a very high level.

ZAION monocoque body
The monocoque body is made of ZAION, which has a strength-to-weight ratio that exceeds that of magnesium. It is light, highly rigid, and powerful.

Lightweight ZAION air rotor
The line roller has been made lighter, and the rotation radius has been reduced, making it the same light-rotating air rotor as the 18EXIST.

Equipped with MagShield
The pinion gear is equipped with MagShield, a waterproof and durable technology. The monocoque body has improved waterproofing.
