Magseal
Daiwa's unique waterproof structure shuts out seawater and dust by creating a magnetic oil wall in the gap between the body and rotor. Since the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining light and smooth rotation. Most of the causes of abnormal rotation noise are salt and foreign objects. Except for cases where the reel is accidentally dropped into water, the rate of abnormal rotation noise in Magsealed reels is significantly reduced. Moreover, this ratio is appearing in the data as a larger difference as time passes. This means that the longer it is used, the more effective it becomes. In other words, it is proof that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of Magseal are at a very high level.

ATD
A new generation drag system that continues to work while smoothly following the pull of the fish. It starts off smoother than before, so it is less likely to break the line, and it is less likely to make the fish feel uncomfortable, so it is less likely to cause unnecessary violence. In addition, the unique stickiness of the operation reduces the chance of the reel running all at once even at a low drag setting, and the frequency of drag readjustment during the fight is reduced, allowing you to concentrate on the fight.

Air Rotor
Daiwa's unique rotor, which achieves a significant weight reduction with the same strength as conventional rotors by distributing the load with an optimal rim structure with a unique shape. ZAION Body

ABS II
A spool structure that releases the line without trouble and increases the casting distance. By using a large diameter spool with a reverse taper on the winding surface, the line is less likely to be pushed out from the front of the spool, and line troubles such as backlash are greatly reduced. The large diameter spool also contributes to improved winding speed and drag performance. ABS II has revised the spool ring shape to reduce resistance when casting. Longer casting performance is improved.

Cross Wrap
By adopting a winding method with a large winding angle, the line is wound crosswise to prevent it from biting into the spool winding section and the line from slipping. The reduction in line trouble is particularly noticeable when using thin lines or PE lines, and at the same time, a comfortable flight is achieved.

Air Veil
A veil shape that dramatically reduces line tangle trouble by sending the line to the line roller so that it flows. Furthermore, the hollow structure achieves a significant increase in strength without changing the weight.

Twist Buster II
