The main body is made of PP board to cushion external impacts. The interior is lined with cushioning fabric to prevent damage to the reel. Mesh fabric is used on the hinge to control internal moisture. A loop for attaching a carabiner or other accessory is included. The handle can be used for easy opening and closing. The double type features a divider to prevent the spools from rubbing against each other.

The single type allows for compact spool storage.
