Two interchangeable tips are included:

• an ultra-soft feeding tip that creates a natural pause for fish to take the bait without sensing resistance,
• and a power tip designed for fast currents and deep water.

V-Joint α utilizes high-strength Nano Alloy® material in the joint section, combined with Daiwa’s precision manufacturing. The result is a lighter, stronger joint with an even cleaner bending curve.

For fishing that requires repeated casting, thinning the joint reduces overall blank diameter, improving swing-through performance and handling.

X45

To prevent blank twisting that occurs during casting, lure manipulation, hook-setting, and fighting fish, Daiwa concluded through extensive research that adding ±45° bias carbon layers to the traditional 0°/90° structure is optimal.
X45 significantly improves power, control, sensitivity, and eliminates torsional distortion.
