To meet the demands of the red snapper fishing scene, which requires smooth rotation under light to heavy loads, we've refined the HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR, the core of HYPERDRIVE DESIGN, by increasing the gear tooth width for improved rotation. It also features a centrifugal brake for light undercasting, allowing for wider exploration in windless or non-current conditions. The versatile 26 Kouga IC150 continues to lead the red snapper fishing scene. Furthermore, three gear ratios and refined handle specifications are available to accommodate a variety of situations. This dedicated red snapper fishing reel is packed with attention to detail for more comfortable red snapper fishing.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN
This next-generation design concept for baitcasting (spinning reels) significantly improves all basic performance levels, aiming to maintain high initial performance for a long time. The HyperDrive Design is comprised of up to four technologies. HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT
A drive support system that delivers sustained smoothness and powerful, lightweight reeling. By supporting both ends of the pinion gear with two highly precise ball bearings, the input from the handle is not attenuated, allowing for powerful, effortless reeling even under load.

HYPER ARMED HOUSING (AL)
This housing system firmly supports the internal structure with high rigidity and precision, producing a precise reeling feel and power. The use of metal for the essential frame is a prerequisite, and when combined with the side plate and set plate, it enables basic performance to be maintained for even longer. 130mm Aluminum Handle Arm
With a focus on winding performance, the new long handle is optimized for sensitivity and constant winding speed, allowing for accurate detection of current changes. The 130mm long handle, in particular, eliminates the weight associated with higher gear ratios. While a 65mm single handle requires technique to achieve constant winding speed, the 130mm long handle enables smooth winding and constant winding even with high gears. The new Power Light Knob M Medium knob is designed for a more comfortable grip.

Self-Battery Change
Don't worry about unexpected battery failure. The battery cover is scratch-resistant and waterproof. No special tools are required; just a coin is all it takes to instantly open and close the cover, allowing you to change the battery yourself. Removing the battery does not require re-entering the line (CR2032 coin battery).

Centrifugal Brake
When the boat is still, such as in windless or stagnant conditions, you may want to perform a "light undercast" to broaden your search or tilt the line. The centrifugal brake minimizes backlash even in such situations.
*Overcasting is dangerous and should never be avoided.
*The centrifugal brake's effectiveness decreases with heavier lures (up to a maximum of approximately 80g).
*Audible noise may be heard during retrieval and fall.

Depth Alarm
IC counter reels tend to rely on the LCD screen for visual feedback. To expand the range of usability, we focused on the audible alarm.

Improved Depth Alarm
Audible alarms allow for accurate depth detection.
The alarm repeats once every 10 meters.
The alarm repeats 1 to 3 times every 10 meters.
The alarm repeats 1 to 5 times every 10 meters.
Both can be turned ON/OFF separately for fall and reel settings.
The alarm sound alone makes it easy to gauge depth without having to visually check the counter.

Improved Depth Alarm Sound Quality
By changing the sound quality of the gunwale stop alarm and depth alarm, the alarm sounds are now comfortable and not too loud, even when fishing.
