The fifth-generation Zeta achieves these at an unprecedentedly high level, thanks to TORAYCA® third-generation carbon materials, "M40X" and "T1100G." These materials significantly enhance the performance of high-elasticity (M40X) and mid-elasticity (T1100G) fibers, bringing advancements unseen in the past 20 years. This cutting-edge technology leads all sea bass anglers into uncharted realms.

M40X: Provides extraordinary "sensitivity" and "handling performance" by eliminating all wobble. It is a 40-ton high-elasticity carbon fiber developed for next-generation rockets and aerospace applications. It maintains the same elasticity as M40J while improving compressive strength by 30%, enhancing casting speed and shock performance. The resin used is #2574 (Nanoalloy).

T1100G: Offers "strength" and "power" at the world's highest standards. It is a 33-ton mid-elasticity carbon fiber developed for rockets, Formula 1, and next-generation aerospace applications. As of April 2021, it has the highest tensile strength in the carbon fiber industry. Beyond strength, it also enhances rod speed during casting and flex durability. The resin used is #2574 (Nanoalloy).

The "NANO JOINT" system is an innovative solution developed by APIA to eliminate the stiffness typically found in the joints of two-piece rods. Using NANO ALLOY® technology, this joint achieves a bending curve similar to a one-piece rod. The joint is polished to ultra-high precision within 0.002 to 0.005 mm, preventing loosening during use.
Note: Do not use ferrule wax, as this joint is extremely precise.

The fifth-generation Foojin’Z features the "APIA Palm Grip," designed to eliminate gaps between the palm and the EVA material when held. The slightly elevated back provides a comfortable fit, and the reel seat hood is made from shrink-rubber material for direct sensitivity transmission to the fingertips.

Foojin’Z utilizes an exclusive guide system based on APIA testers' extensive field experience. The top and butt guides, which are key points that cause line noise or twisting, are equipped with SiC-S rings, while the intermediate guides feature TORZITE rings. This unique configuration offers lightweight, smooth performance that significantly increases casting distance.

The rod is covered for five years after production ends, with unlimited repairs at a specified fee during this period.
