ABU GARCIA Max SX SP 1000S

A general-purpose price range reel that inherits not only the asymmetrical compact design that inherits the design of ZENON and Revo, but also the V-Rotor and V-spool designs. A versatile reel with 6+1 bearings, a screw-in handle, and an aluminum replacement spool.

Compact asymmetrical body
The newly developed body has completely different appearances on the left and right sides. In spinning reels, the main gear that rotates connected to the handle shaft is only on the left side. The shape focuses on simply covering this main gear and thoroughly eliminates unnecessary space. As a result, a lightweight and compact body has been achieved without sacrificing the thickness and strength of the material.

V-Rotor design
The small diameter arbor part and V-shaped wings achieve light weight and low moment of inertia without sacrificing strength. The rotation is "smooth and stops perfectly".

V-Spool design
The skirt part of the spool is mainly used to prevent the loose thread from wrapping around the spool shaft when the thread wound on the spool becomes loose. The new V-spool design achieves significant weight reduction by narrowing the skirt.

Rocket Management System
1. Spool Design - Abu Garcia's unique rocket spool lip releases the line from the spool more smoothly and evenly.
2. Oscillation System - The slow oscillation system allows the line to be wound onto the spool more smoothly and evenly at the optimal winding angle.
3. Bail - When the line is released from the spool lip, it controls the line loop to the optimum size, allowing the line to pass smoothly through the first stripping guide of the rod.

Screw-in aluminum handle
It is less likely to wobble when installed, making it easier to catch a bite.

Spare aluminum spool included
The same aluminum spool as the main unit is included as a spare spool. By winding different lines on each spool, you can handle a wide range of fishing.
