DAIWA's unique cutting-edge technology that supports the basic performance of CERTATE, including the air drive design, which is the design concept of the next-generation spinning reel, the aluminum full metal monocoque body, and the Mag Sealed. Inheriting that line, it has been perfected to achieve the essential performance as a model dedicated to saltwater.
The first priority was rigidity and power. The targets are bluefish, mahi-mahi, and black fin sea bass, which are intended for use with PE lines of 2 to 3. In such games, you may sometimes be forced to deal with larger fish than you can imagine. To accommodate these needs, the monocoque body has been enlarged and the large diameter drive gear stored inside it has also been made thicker. Furthermore, the engine plate that supports the gear drive unit has also been made thicker to ensure complete safety. This allows the gears to maintain an ideal meshing even during high-load winding, resulting in powerful winding power with very little loss.
This optimization is not limited to the body unit. In the front unit, the ZAION rotor has been enlarged and thickened, resulting in a 39% increase in rigidity compared to the same size CERTATE (compared to the LT5000). The bail is designed to be used with large lures, and a manual bail return is used to prevent accidents by controlling inadvertent bail return during casting.
The waterproof performance has been strengthened compared to the previous model 21CERTATE SW. When used in the sea, there is a much higher risk of salty water entering the reel compared to freshwater. There are more opportunities for intrusion due to wave splashing and sea breezes. To prevent this, the waterproof packing at the handle attachment part has been improved. A synergistic effect with the Mag Shield in the pinion part has achieved a high level of waterproof performance.
How can we create a reel that is reliable in the natural environment of the sea? The CERTATE SW faced this challenge head on, was thoroughly tested in the ocean, and evolved to adapt to it. For all anglers who love saltwater games.

MONOCOQUE BODY
Strong and durable technology, monocoque body. Conventional spinning reels generally support both ends of the drive gear with the body and body cover, and secure them with several screws. In order to further improve precision and rigidity, the monocoque body eliminates the body cover and secures the gear by screwing a high-precision plate directly into the body. This improves the support precision of the gear, and also improves rigidity and airtightness. Furthermore, by utilizing the space previously taken up by the screw, we have succeeded in expanding the size of the drive gear to its maximum. The monocoque body means MONO (one) - COQUE (shell). The completely new shape, which symbolizes the strength of a single shell, breaks the conventional wisdom of reel structure.
It uses a full metal (aluminum) monocoque body. The maximum diameter Tough Digigear is enclosed in a highly rigid, lightweight, compact housing.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR
To survive in harsh environments, a reel needs a strong heart. "Tough Digigear" keeps the rotation smooth for longer.
The G1 duralumin (ultra-high strength aluminum) used in 24CERTATE SW is both strong and lightweight.

AIRDRIVE DESIGN
Air Drive Design is a next-generation spinning reel design concept that pursues the angler's desire to control the lure as they wish. Air Drive Design is composed of up to four technologies. The prerequisite is the installation of an Air Drive Rotor that produces light winding and high-response rotation, a lightweight and trouble-free Air Drive Bail, a thin-walled Air Drive Spool that has been designed to reduce weight by removing unnecessary material to the limit, and an Air Drive Shaft that supports the main shaft with a high-precision collar and has a non-contact structure with the pinion gear, allowing for light winding with extremely little rotation noise even under high load. The synergistic effect of these and the improvement of the weight balance of the reel achieve a high level of operability.
*The 24CERTATE SW4000/5000/6000 are equipped with three features: AIRDRIVE ROTOR, AIRDRIVE BAIL, and AIRDRIVE SHAFT.

AIR DRIVE ROTOR
Using our unique theory, we have derived a new shape that looks as if it was cut out of a sphere, and by thoroughly removing unnecessary material from it, we have achieved a significant weight reduction while maintaining rigidity. This has dramatically improved the lightness of the reel, which leads to improved operability and sensitivity.
The new ZIAON AIRDRIVE ROTOR, designed exclusively for SW and developed by 24CERTATE SW, is designed with low inertia and emphasis on strength, enabling sharp and technical lure operation with high response and winding, giving anglers an overwhelming advantage.

AIR DRIVE BAIL
The Air Veil has adopted a hollow pipe structure that provides rigidity and light weight, but in order to achieve further weight reduction, the diameter has been made smaller while maintaining the necessary strength. The veil angle is set to the optimum angle to allow the line to transition more smoothly from the veil to the line roller. This has made it even lighter and less troublesome.
24CERTATE SW uses the optimal bail diameter for each size. The 6000 size has a Φ3.0mm diameter that prioritizes strength, while the 4000/5000 sizes have a Φ2.4mm diameter that prioritizes operability.

AIR DRIVE SHAFT
The system uses a non-contact structure between the main shaft and pinion, a linear shaft that eliminates friction, and supports both ends of the pinion with bottom brackets, maximizing the power input to generate torque. Furthermore, the main shaft is supported by a high-precision collar, which reduces rotational noise to the maximum.

MAGSEALED
DAIWA's unique waterproof structure creates a wall of magnetic oil in the gap between the body and rotor, blocking out seawater, dust, and other elements.
This technology is installed in two places in the 24CERTATE SW4000/5000/6000: the pinion and the line roller. It further improves waterproofness, durability, and rotation performance, achieving a high level of waterproofness.

ATD TOUGH
The ATD operates smoothly and keeps working smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. The ATD Tough uses carbon washers to achieve high durability. It pursues smooth start and tracking, allowing you to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.

LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)
While keeping the idea of reducing contact resistance of ABS II, the contact point has been moved forward to achieve smoother line release. The effect of the ring part moving forward makes it difficult for the line to get on the ring, which has resulted in an approximately 5% increase in distance and trouble-free performance over the conventional ABS II. This is the next generation ABS spool that achieves LC (= LONG CAST).

Stopperless body
The body structure has been simplified by removing the stopper. The decision to remove the stopper, which is a route through which water and foreign objects can enter, not only improves waterproof performance but also minimizes the risk of sudden trouble in harsh environments or when dealing with large fish, which are required for 24CERTATE4000/5000/6000.

Manual return
In order to completely prevent the bail from flipping back when casting and to improve durability, a manual return mechanism is used that prevents the bail from flipping back when the handle is turned.

Power light knob (compatible with S size knob)
Uses a Power Light Knob L (replaceable with S size) made of EVA, which is easy to grip and non-slip.
