At the core of the rod, the blank structure features Spiral X Core, delivering exceptional strength against bending, twisting, and crushing forces in all directions. The enhanced repulsive power generates tremendous strength the deeper the rod is loaded, enabling sharp, powerful, and effortless casting.

Specially designed for superior trouble-free performance.

With PE line now standard in modern rock shore games, Shimano re-evaluated guide diameter and frame height from the ground up. The smaller guide diameter helps PE line converge quickly after leaving the reel, suppressing line flutter. The elevated frame reduces blank contact from unstable line movement, minimizing fraying and line damage.

Extreme Power Control Grip

Original shape that prevents power loss.

The grip end is uniquely shaped for optimal rock shore usability. It allows stronger pull-hand force during casting and supports braced fighting techniques. Beyond preventing power loss, it enhances rod operability. The rubber material also allows the butt to be braced against the ground during fights, reducing wear compared to EVA.

Jerking Assist Rear Grip
