Offshore Stick WRC – The Ultimate Giant Game Rod

Designed to the highest level of technical excellence, the WRC is a dedicated rod for targeting large game fish.

In catch-and-release fishing, the shorter a fish’s fight time, the faster it recovers. To maximize survival, anglers typically set drag tension higher than usual, reducing fight duration while minimizing damage to the fish. Higher drag tension also shortens the time and distance the fish can reach structure, lowering the risk of line breakage or gear loss.

WRC-TOKARA60 – For Giant Trevally

The TOKARA60 was developed specifically to target Giant Trevally over 60 kg. It is optimized for large poppers, with rod design that accounts for the water pressure exerted on the lure cup during hooking.

Anglers who can maintain a rod angle of 45–60° while fighting will benefit from the exceptional recovery ability of high-elasticity graphite produced via the 3D cross-binding special manufacturing process. This provides a robust butt section capable of landing large GTs in minimal time.

Field Test – TOKARA60
Developed for Trevally over 60 kg, it was field-tested by Kozo Okubo, who landed several over 50 kg. Notably, on August 2, 2002, a 159 cm, 57 kg fish was caught in just 5 minutes and 20 seconds of fight time, marking a record for the final test.
