BL-551XUL-S/AJ

1-piece construction.

A full solid model featuring a delicate tip that allows you to “communicate” with lightweight rigs and lead horse mackerel into deep, natural bites without creating resistance.

The tip is sensitive enough to detect and follow even ultra-light jig head rigs under 0.5 g, accurately capturing the rig’s weight. Even subtle bites that are difficult to feel in hand trigger a quick tip response, allowing anglers to visually detect the slightest changes.

The blank, designed with a high suspension effect, eliminates concerns about line breakage when using fine ester lines. Thanks to the extraordinary flexibility unique to full solid construction, it is fully capable of handling large horse mackerel.

Additionally, the slim yet dense-core blank structure is highly resistant to wind interference, providing superior stability and control during rod operation.

A protective TIP protector is included to safeguard the delicate tip section.

Tubular blank constructed from 30t + 40t carbon.
Achieves an excellent balance of lightweight performance and high sensitivity. It responds instantly to short bites and delivers outstanding hook-setting performance — an essential trait for an ajing rod.

BL-742ML-ST/AJ

24t solid carbon tip combined with 30t + 40t graphite blank.
The solid tip provides excellent control of lightweight rigs, while the flexible, load-bearing butt section supports long-distance casting. This combination delivers high versatility across various fishing situations.

Grip

Nut-type design prioritizing weight reduction.
Both the grip section and EVA butt end are kept as compact as possible to minimize weight and avoid interference during operation.
