SLP WORKS 25 Saltiga Optional Spool DRD18000 #Gold/Navy Blue

DRD is an all-new drag mechanism that can withstand the repeated long-term action of large fish and prevent wear and seizure at high drag levels. Instead of the carbon washers used in conventional drags, the DRD washer features eight metal rollers mounted on a single metal plate. This minimizes drag force loss due to frictional heat and is more than five times more durable than a carbon washer. It also contributes to smoother start-up.

*Standard on 18000-25000 models. 8000-14000 models are compatible with the SLP WORKS SALTIGA spool DRD14000. (To fully utilize DRD's performance, the drag knob must be replaced with the SLP WORKS SALTIGA DRD Radiation Knob (sold separately).)

The DRD is not available on the 25 Saltiga reels in sizes 8000-14000, but by installing this SLP WORKS "DRD14000 spool" and "DRD radiation knob," you can configure the drag to DRD specifications.

The 25 Saltiga DRD14000 spool can be installed on the 25 Saltiga reels in sizes 8000, 10000, and 14000.
