To achieve both power and finesse, the rod adopts a jointed multi-piece construction with a step-length design. The #1 section features a soft-tip design that improves bite detection and makes it easier to recognize subtle timing changes in lure action and water conditions. Its shorter length also enhances lightness and response. The #2 section smoothly transfers load between the softer #1 and the powerful #3 section. The #3 section utilizes a thick-diameter, high-rigidity construction to strengthen the rod’s core and support brutal power fights against monster fish.

This is not simply a 3-piece rod designed for travel convenience to remote islands. The construction delivers an advanced balance of strength, durability, and performance. To support heavy-duty tackle systems using reels up to SW18000 size and PE 8–10 line, the rod is equipped with newly developed X Guide Touch Free Titanium guides. In addition, the taller frame design minimizes blank contact from loose line, helping reduce line abrasion and fraying.

Included Guide Cover

A dedicated guide cover is included to protect the large blank-touch-free guides from accidental impacts during transport or falls. It also helps prevent damage caused by contact with other equipment during travel or expedition packing.
