Superhydrophilic Coating Agent – 20 mL

A superhydrophilic coating agent suitable for acrylic, polycarbonate, solar panels, mirrors, and more. Unlike superhydrophobic coatings, the superhydrophilic mechanism maximizes water’s surface tension, achieving a contact angle of less than 5°. This provides excellent dirt resistance, strong adhesion, and reduced friction—outperforming water-repellent surfaces in certain applications.

For example, aquatic organisms have superhydrophilic surfaces that reduce underwater friction by integrating closely with water. This principle is also applied in competitive swimwear, where superhydrophilic coatings improve cleanliness, wettability, and friction reduction underwater—surpassing traditional hydrophobic coatings.
