MEGABASS Great Hunting Huntsman GHBF511-4L Tanabira Special

This is Yuki Ito's special game rod for targeting wide-eyed amago, also known as "tanabira," which roam the currents of Kiso, Shinshu. Tailor-made by MPW (Megabass Performance Works) to Ito’s exacting specifications, the GHBF511-4L features super high-density Ivory Rosewood for its "precise lure management," "continuous high-speed snap work," and "instantaneous bite detection (hand sensitivity)" to target and capture the elusive tanabira. The rod is designed with a tip-down balance for a twitch-heavy technique and is set to larger and stronger stream specifications. Standing in the current that nurtures the tanabira, the rod comfortably enables twitching of heavy sinking minnows such as the GH65 day after day. It is specially geared for reaction fishing to trigger bites in tight windows, deliver lightning hooksets, and unleash the power needed to pull trophies from the strong current. The torquey shaft of the "Tanabira Special" delivers a wider power range and precision control to allow anglers to approach diverse waters with dynamic confidence.

HUNTING-ANGLE HANDLE

HUNTSMAN™ original handles are carefully machined one at a time from solid hardwood, following careful contours derived from ergonomic data from the Megabass Factory. The handles are then finished by hand in a painstaking process, resulting in a confidence-inspiring grip that supports pinpoint casting from all approach angles.
