Previously, we'd insert core material into the entire side of the bag to ensure strength and allow it to stand on its own. However, this sometimes prevented it from standing properly when the lower compartment was empty or when sagging due to aging and use.
This new backpack solves this problem by incorporating a spine rod that runs through the bag, allowing it to stand on its own without collapsing even when the lower compartment is empty and only the upper compartment is filled.

This backpack is specially designed for bank fishing.
Tackle can be accessed from the side pockets while the bag is on your back.
The hard-type top lid can be used as a workbench for changing tackle, etc.
