WILDSIDE HP Spinning Models

The WILDSIDE HP spinning series has been completely rebuilt based on the highly acclaimed original WILDSIDE spinning models, integrating the latest materials, manufacturing technologies, and Legit Design’s accumulated expertise.

With the increasing use of thin-diameter PE lines, the blank construction was thoroughly re-evaluated. Special attention was given to material combinations and manufacturing methods that complement the low-stretch characteristics of PE lines. Each model features optimized Aramid Reinforcement, delivering a perfect balance of sensitivity, smooth casting performance, flexibility, and powerful strength.

While modern bass spinning rods often emphasize stiffness, sharpness, and ultra-lightweight construction, Legit Design pursues a different philosophy: rods that anglers can use naturally and effortlessly, allowing them to fish more effectively without even realizing it. User-friendly yet cutting-edge — that is the essence of the WILDSIDE HP spinning series.

Features

Blank Construction

As the primary carbon materials evolved, the signature Aramid Reinforcement was strategically concentrated mainly in the butt section. To better match the growing popularity of PE line usage, the blanks feature a slightly more regular taper and enhanced flexibility.

The rods utilize advanced materials including Torayca® T1100G and M40X, combined with multiple carbon types of varying elasticity, carefully arranged throughout the blank for optimal performance.

Guides

Fuji stainless steel frame guides with SiC rings are used throughout the lineup, featuring Legit Design’s original guide settings optimized for each specific model to maximize blank performance.

Reel Seat

Fuji VSS reel seats are equipped on all models, paired with ergonomically shaped cork grips designed for precise lure control and delicate finesse techniques.

Grip End

A compact EVA grip end design reduces weight while maintaining comfort and balance.

End Cap

Rubber end caps are fitted with embossed metal emblems for a premium finish.

Reel Hood
