The WILDSIDE HP baitcasting lineup has been completely updated in both blank materials and construction — the core elements that determine a rod’s true performance. Each model is carefully tuned for its intended fishing style, tackle balance, power, flexibility, and overall durability to deliver the optimal solution for real-world angling situations.

Models designed for strength and torque feature full-length aramid reinforcement, while those prioritizing sharp swing-through feel and balance utilize strategic reinforcement only in the butt section. This advanced construction — unique to Legit Design — allows the rods to achieve both power and suppleness, bending deeply and smoothly rather than relying solely on stiffness. By reducing angler fatigue and enhancing fishability, these rods deliver true ease of use and genuine catch performance.

WHPC66M

A true medium-power versatile rod designed for both moving baits and contact-style presentations, whether from boat or shore. Compared to the previous generation, the taper has been refined to a slightly milder, more regular-fast bend, providing excellent compatibility not only with soft bait pitching but also single-hook moving baits such as spinnerbaits and chatterbaits, as well as jerkbaits that require active rod work. The responsive blank offers a notably clean and efficient swing-through feel during casting.

Using the latest carbon materials including Torayca® T1100G and M40X, combined with varied carbon modulus placement tailored for each model. The signature aramid reinforcement layout is optimized individually to maximize blank performance.

Reel Seat
