The Speedmetal SS standard series is designed for anglers who want to actively entice and hook squid. It features a sensitive solid tip capable of detecting delicate bites, combined with a well-balanced action that offers excellent lure control.
The rod is built to match an aggressive, hands-on fishing style while maximizing the enjoyment of the highly technical Kensaki squid game.

B66M-solid
A model designed primarily for 10–20 gou sinkers, with a maximum capacity of 25 gou.
Ideal when quick and responsive control of lightweight squid jigs is required. It also performs well in rough weather conditions and supports fishing styles that emphasize long lure stays and stable presentations.
B66MH-solid
Designed mainly for 12–25 gou, with a maximum of 30 gou.
This model provides the power needed to maintain proper lure action even in deeper water where heavier sinkers are required. While maintaining the high-response concept of the series, it offers excellent all-around versatility.
B66H-solid
Designed mainly for 15–30 gou, with a maximum of 40 gou.
A high-response, high-power specification that performs well in strong current conditions. It matches aggressive fishing styles and can also handle bait-style omorig rigs in fast current areas.
S610M-solid
An Omorig model designed mainly for 15–25 gou, with a maximum of 30 gou.
Ideal for shallow water fishing or when using lighter sinkers in slow current conditions. The flexible tip suppresses excessive rig movement and clearly expresses subtle bites. It also provides excellent stability in rough weather and works well for long-stay presentations.
S610MH-solid
An Omorig model designed mainly for 20–30 gou, with a maximum of 40 gou.
It maintains responsiveness even in strong currents and embodies the high-response concept of the series. This model balances long-distance casting performance and lightweight operability, making it a versatile standard rod suitable throughout the entire season.
Tip Section
Both baitcasting and spinning models are equipped with a high-visibility, high-sensitivity solid tip for improved bite detection.
