The J-632 corresponds to a 3.5–5 power class, targeting amberjack, yellowtail, kingfish, tuna (yellowfin/skipjack), and bottom species such as grouper.
With an ideal jig weight range of 150–300 g, this model offers the most versatile coverage for Japan’s coastal zones—truly the core all-rounder of the series.

The high-modulus carbon placed in the outer layers provides excellent recovery speed, allowing the jig to respond instantly to sharp, whip-like high-pitch jerks.
When using high-resistance jigs, the lower-modulus carbon inside the butt–belly section engages, bending deeply to enable controlled slow-pitch jerks.
In mid-deep areas, the rod also excels at slow-pitch “through the tip” style actions.

By enabling precise control over the action of each jig, the rod allows you to adapt perfectly to the target species and fishing situation.

Important: Check for joint loosening

Due to the nature of pack rods, repeated casting may cause joints to loosen.
If the joints are not fully secured, this can lead to damage or breakage.

Applying ferrule wax prevents sections from slipping during casting and protects the joint from moisture-related sticking. Please check joint tightness every few casts and use ferrule wax.
