A reinforced versatile model featuring added power and a regular action design. Built primarily with medium-modulus carbon and a thicker blank wall construction, this rod delivers enhanced restoring power while maintaining a smooth, natural bend free from excessive stiffness. NEOS-64L+R-T (Tubular Tip)

Designed for short- to medium-range fishing with rigs and lures up to 7g. Although it is a lightweight and highly responsive short light-class model, the rod generates impressive torque once loaded under pressure.

It performs exceptionally well with lightweight jig heads and mid-sinker rigs for Aji and Mebaru, while also offering excellent handling for small plugs and metal jigs targeting species such as Trevally and Barracuda. In addition, it provides a comfortable feel for light Texas rigs and free rigs used in rockfish applications.

Features

Blank

The blank combines taper designs inherited from the ultra-sensitive Salty Sensation series with an aggressive mix of 24t and 30t medium-modulus carbon materials. This creates a blank that feels sharp and responsive, yet bends smoothly and produces strong torque under load. To maximize lightness and sensitivity, the rod features an unpainted unsanded finish except for the butt logo section.

Guide System

Equipped with lightweight and highly reliable Fuji titanium frame SiC-S guides. The top guide intentionally omits thread wrapping, using only a minimal transition finish to prioritize tip lightness and responsiveness.

Joint

Features a put-over joint designed with minimal insertion length to achieve both smooth bend characteristics and reduced overall weight.

Grip Design

The ultra-lightweight foregrip uses only a carbon sleeve construction for maximum sensitivity.

The Fuji IPS reel seat combined with an ultra-compact EVA center grip provides excellent vibration transmission to the palm, a natural and comfortable grip feel, and secure handling during fights.

The EVA end grip is compactly designed to minimize unwanted movement caused by excess rear-end weight during lure operation. It is finished with an ultra-lightweight Neo original end plate.
