Enjoy Everything the Harbor Has to Offer!
A Versatile Boat-Game Rod for Every Inshore Target
An entry-level boat lure rod designed to handle a wide variety of inshore boat fishing—from seabass as the main target, to yellowtail, Spanish mackerel, flathead, rockfish, and even black seabream (chinning).
Developed based on a boat seabass rod, it offers outstanding handling and a lightweight, agile feel. With excellent casting and lure-control performance, plus a carbon monocoque rear grip, it delivers a premium appearance and elevated usability.
Whether you’re shooting tight harbor structure, casting to surface-feeding fish in open water, or working soft baits along the bottom, this is a rod that lets you enjoy every aspect of boat-game fishing.
DAIWA Technologies
X45

Through extensive research, DAIWA determined that adding ±45° bias carbon layers to the traditional 0°/90° construction is optimal for suppressing twist generated during casting, lure action, hooksetting, and fighting.
X45 prevents torsional distortion and dramatically enhances power, operability, and sensitivity.
AIR SENSOR SEAT

A carbon-reinforced Air Sensor Seat delivers lightweight performance, high rigidity, and excellent sensitivity. Each version is designed specifically for the rod’s intended application, offering operability impossible with generic reel seats.
HVF Carbon

DAIWA focused not only on higher elasticity of carbon fibers, but also on reducing excess resin—the “unnecessary weight” binding the fibers.
By decreasing resin and increasing carbon fiber density, HVF Carbon becomes more muscular and powerful, ideal for rods requiring strength and resilience.
