Technologies

ESS – Expert Sense Simulation

DAIWA’s proprietary system that analyzes the rod’s “strain energy”—the recovery force generated when a blank bends. The system quantifies performance, identifies areas of deficiency, and incorporates the angler’s sensitivity to refine blank design at a deeper level.

AGS – Air Guide System (Type-R)

Carbon-frame guides offering approx. three times the rigidity of titanium, transmitting even the slightest signal through the line without absorption. Their ultra-lightweight design significantly improves total rod sensitivity, especially in the tip section.

CWS – Carbon Wrapping System

A carbon-cross structure used to fix guides and reel seats to the blank instead of thread wraps. This enhances lightness, durability, torsional strength at the attachment points, and provides a distinct visual presence.

62XHB-S – Flagship Hybrid Response Bait Model (XH Power)

Like the HB-S, it offers a rounded, low-response jerk feel while enabling high-response jig input. It handles short jigs widely used in LJ as well as long jigs.
