DAIWA Ginro Ohga F 06-50
Aperçu
Refine the mind. Sharpen the fangs.
Sharp eyes, powerful jaws, and a beautifully gleaming silver body—this battle-hardened, seasoned presence inspired the creation of “GINRO”, a dedicated float-fishing (uki-fukase) rod series for black sea bream (Kurodai/Chinu), modeled after a lone, intelligent wolf.
Targeting black sea bream demands both boldness and cunning. To win this tactical battle, anglers need equipment that responds precisely to skill and strategy. Built exclusively for Chinu fishing and uki-fukase techniques, the GINRO series delivers specialized performance for serious anglers. Always prepared for the next fight, GINRO continues to sharpen its edge.
Next-Generation Chinu Float Rod
Ultra-Slim × High-Modulus Carbon Construction
The newly evolved GINRO Ouga features a dramatically refined Power Slim Blank, combining an ultra-slim, thick-walled structure with high-modulus carbon.
Built with Torayca® M46X high-modulus carbon, and formed using Daiwa’s advanced rod technologies, the blank delivers:
- Sharp, crisp action
- Significantly reduced wind resistance
- Lightweight, highly responsive handling
Two distinct action concepts are available to match different fishing styles and conditions:
S (Slow Taper Concept)
A deep-bending rod that loads smoothly down to the butt section, allowing anglers to control fish effortlessly while enjoying each fight. Ideal for absorbing runs and maximizing rod cushioning.
F (Fast Taper Concept)
Designed for superior hooking response and precise fish control. Well-balanced for rocky shorelines and deeper water, where quick control is critical.
Once hooked, the rod bends smoothly down toward the reel seat thanks to its low-taper design, maximizing blank performance. The ultra-slim profile reduces wind resistance, improving casting stability even in strong winds—an important advantage for long-distance float fishing.
The rear grip is ergonomically shaped to fit the elbow comfortably, ensuring a secure hold even during one-handed fights. The distinctive white & silver color scheme enhances visibility and gives the rod a strong presence on the shoreline.
DAIWA Technologies
AGS (Air Guide System)

Carbon-frame guides provide approximately three times the rigidity of titanium, transmitting even the slightest line signals directly to the blank without loss. Lightweight construction improves swing speed, reduces tip vibration, and enhances casting distance and accuracy.
V-JOINT α

Reinforced with high-strength NANOALLOY material and precision engineering, delivering smoother bending, increased durability, and lighter weight.
SVF NANOPLUS

Ultra-high-density carbon combined with NANOALLOY technology achieves exceptional strength, lightness, and slimness.
X45

±45° bias carbon wrapping eliminates twisting during casting and fighting, greatly improving power, control, and sensitivity.
MEGA TOP

A carbon solid tip with uniformly distributed fibers and resin, providing consistent bending in all directions. Offers superior strength, sensitivity, and excellent visual bite detection.
ZERO_SEAT

Ergonomically designed reel seat concept focused on reducing fatigue and maximizing comfort.
IC Guard

Special coating and surface structure reduce line sticking caused by moisture, improving line handling performance.
Key Features
- Ultra-slim blank with dramatically improved action and lifting power
- ZERO Seat (Power Hump Hold Seat) for secure and powerful grip
- AGS guides (#1–#2) + TC-IM guides (#3 onward) for sensitivity and reduced line trouble
- High-visibility orange tip with Tough Bright Coat for improved visibility in low light

Model Lineup
S0-53
Extremely soft and flexible model. Absorbs fish runs entirely with rod action, allowing for smooth control without releasing line—ideal for enjoying the fight.
S03-53
Balanced model combining the flexibility of size 0 with the strength margin of size 0.6. Handles medium fish comfortably while retaining power for unexpected 50 cm+ catches.
S06-53
A classic slow-taper concept enhanced with higher responsiveness. A well-balanced rod suitable for a wide range of conditions including deeper areas and larger fish.
S1-53
Power-focused model with strong lifting force generated as the rod bends. Ideal for strong currents, deep water, and targeting large Chinu or even red sea bream.
F06-50
Short-length, highly maneuverable model. Reduces fatigue during long sessions and excels in precise line control and detecting subtle bites.
F06-53
Fast-taper model with excellent control for stopping and lifting fish quickly. Ideal for fishing around obstacles or when quick landing is required.
F1-53
High-control model for difficult terrain such as rocky bottoms, weed beds, and deep water. Combines strong control with enough flexibility for light rigs.
Action Concepts
F (Fast Taper)
A hybrid action: fast under light load for sensitivity and control, yet flexes smoothly under pressure to absorb fish runs.
S (Slow Taper)
Deep-bending action that increases power as it loads, overturning the traditional notion that softer rods lack lifting power.
