Spool that won't catch on screws during backlash
The spool screw is approximately 1.2mm lower than the current model.

V-Spool
The V-spool's "V" shape allows for even line reeling and smooth line release when the rig is dropped. The spool's excellent rotation performance allows even light rigs to be dropped without snagging.
*Compatible with CRT series spools (including the Christia Wakasagi Aluminum Spool AIR).
*Not compatible with the SR series, CR series, or CR-PT series (including the Christia Wakasagi Aluminum Spool).
*E series spools cannot be used with other models.

Quick Winding/Continuous Winding
Lightly press the winding switch on either side of the body to reel in a little ("quick winding" function). Holding the switch for more than one second activates "continuous winding," which continues winding even after you release your finger. To stop winding, lightly press the switch again.

Line Stopper
Equipped with three line stoppers on the top of the spool. This convenient feature automatically stops the rig at the same depth each time you drop it by hooking the line on the stopper at the depth where fish often bite.

Gannel Stop Guide
The switch-type gunwale stop prevents the rig from getting tangled in the rod tip due to over-winding.

Clutch Lever
When the lever is pushed to the right, the clutch is "free" (the spool is free and the line can be released). When the lever is pushed to the left, the clutch is "locked" (the spool is locked and ready for reeling). (The spool can also be locked by pressing the winding switch on the side of the body.)

Compatible with 5mm Tips
Compatible with Φ5 (5mm diameter) tips. Insert the tip all the way into the mounting hole and ensure it is securely fastened. (It may come loose due to vibration, so please check it occasionally during use.)

Limited color specification product. Attaching the Christia Wakasagi Fumbaru Stand makes the smelt reel easier to hold and increases stability.
*The reel weighs approximately 125g when attached to the stand.
