DAIWA 25 HRF TW 100XH PE Special
Aperçu
The HRF TW PE SPECIAL is a specially designed reel that delivers super-long casts to uncharted territory and enhanced line control, a baitcasting reel's hallmark. It features a 34mm diameter G1 duralumin MAG-Z BOOST spool specifically designed for PE fishing, with a brake setting specifically for PE line, and a TWS with exceptional line release. The synergistic effect of the MAG-Z BOOST and TWS allows for trouble-free casting even with thin PE lines (0.8 or smaller), with a long, extended cast. This provides an exhilarating casting feel, a major draw for this reel. The smooth reeling feel when searching the bottom is a hallmark of the HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR. The reel's 8.5 gear ratio allows for instant penetration of even long-distance bites into the tough mouths of rockfish, while the handle length allows for easy operation with everything from free rigs to plugs. It also features a drag pull-out click that provides audible support when tackling with the tightest line tension. With superior control during the fight and quick reeling, you'll always be in control.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN
A next-generation design concept for baitcasting (double-axis) reels that significantly raises the bar on all basic performance standards, aiming to maintain high initial performance for a long time. The HyperDrive design is comprised of up to four technologies. The HyperDrive Digigear, which ensures long-lasting smooth rotation, is a prerequisite, and the Hyper Double Support assists the gear drive for strong, light reeling. The Hyper Armed Housing provides strong support for the internal structure, making it less likely to bend or warp. The Hyper Tough Clutch with an insulated structure continues to operate even in harsh locations and dramatically reduces sticking caused by salt buildup. These synergies ensure consistent, reliable performance in any field.

HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR
A newly designed gear system designed to deliver strong, smooth rotation. This proprietary DAIWA technology maintains initial smoothness for longer by increasing the meshing rate without reducing the gear tooth module (size), which directly affects durability.

HYPER DOUBLE SUPPORT
A drive support system that delivers sustained smoothness and powerful, lightweight reeling. High-precision support on both ends of the pinion gear with two ball bearings prevents attenuation of handle input, allowing for powerful, effortless reeling even under load.

HYPER ARMED HOUSING (FULL AL)
This housing system provides high-rigidity, high-precision support for the internal structure, resulting in precise reeling feel and power. The use of metal for the essential frame is a prerequisite, and when combined with the side plate and set plate, it enables even longer-lasting basic performance. This series uses aluminum alloy for the frame, gear-side side plate, and dial-side set plate. The full-aluminum housing provides unparalleled durability.

HYPER TOUGH CLUTCH
Not only does this clutch system offer crisp on/off performance that continues to slide thousands or even tens of thousands of times, it also operates with extremely low trouble, even in high-salinity waters. Its cutting-edge insulation structure has already reduced the number of repairs due to sticking in harsh saltwater fishing by 99% compared to previous models.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING
DAIWA, using its proprietary technology, is the first in the world to successfully mag-shield the ball bearing itself. The magnetic liquid barrier prevents water and foreign matter from entering the ball bearing, significantly eliminating rust, salt buildup, and noise while maintaining the ball bearing's inherent rotational performance.

TWS (T-WING SYSTEM)
TWS significantly reduces resistance in the line guide, the area closest to the spool where spool rotation speed is highest. By reducing the resistance to casting distance, you can achieve greater casting distance and control than ever before, as well as a faster fall and reduced backlash. This realizes new levels of winding potential not only during reeling but also during casting.

MAG-Z BOOST
The BOOST SYSTEM maximizes the long-distance casting performance of the MAGFORCE-Z. MAG-Z BOOST is a distance-focused setting that maximizes the long-distance casting performance of the MAGFORCE-Z. Because the MAGFORCE-Z relies on centrifugal force to activate the inductor rotor, it's unsuitable for lightweight lures. However, it's ideal for long-distance casting of medium- to heavy-weight lures, achieving greater distance with increased input. And then, the BOOST revolution begins. After avoiding the backlash zone, the reel instantly returns one step, achieving maximum casting distance with a smooth trajectory from the middle of the cast to just before landing. The greatest feature of the BOOST mechanism is the inductor rotor, which springs out in two stages.

Zero Adjuster
By first adjusting the "Zero Adjuster" and achieving "zero spool play," the evolution of the magnetic brake allows you to control all lures with just the mag dial. The "Zero Adjuster" is a mechanism that allows you to adjust the "zero setting" before starting a fishing session, preventing malfunctions and allowing for comfortable fishing.
*The "zero spool backlash" setting refers to the lowest setting that does not push the spool, while leaving a slight backlash (approximately 0.2 mm).

ZERO SHAFT
The spool is supported only by the bottom bracket. The shaftless design eliminates excess resistance, resulting in ideal spool rotation. This is the key to a high-output engine that prioritizes casting performance.

UTD (Ultimate Tournament Drag)
DAIWA's drag system eliminates initial drag bite and achieves smooth, even drag, while providing maximum drag force the more you tighten the drag.

High-Speed Level Wind
Line winding loosely on the reel can be particularly problematic when using PE line. High-Speed Level Wind dramatically reduces this issue. As a result, the problem of the upper line digging into the lower line on the winding surface is significantly reduced, resulting in comfortable fishing performance.

φ34mm G1 Duralumin MAG-Z BOOST Spool for PE Fishing
This reel features a spool made of G1 duralumin, a high-strength material typically used for spools, which is approximately 1.3 times stronger. This results in a lightweight yet highly durable spool.
*PE-specific spool.
Normal spool shapes create steps on both ends of the spool, resulting in unstable line release. HRF's PE-specific spool features a new spool shape designed specifically for PE fishing. The curves on the bottom and sides of the spool are nearly vertical, dramatically improving line winding. This results in an unprecedentedly trouble-free spool. Because this reel is designed specifically for PE fishing, nylon and fluorocarbon lines, which tend to stretch and damage the spool's strength, cannot be used.

TWS (T-WING SYSTEM)
DAIWA has refined its one-of-a-kind TWS technology to reduce line release resistance during casting, or "expand the no-resistance range." By maximizing line release performance through a synergistic effect with the special DLC surface treatment, DAIWA continues to refine this unique technology and pursue a casting feel that "makes you want to cast again and again."

MAG-Z BOOST
MAG-Z BOOST is unsuitable for lightweight lures due to the centrifugal force that activates the inductor rotor. However, it is ideal for long-distance casting of medium- to heavy-weight lures, achieving greater casting distance with increased input. This is where the BOOST revolution comes in. By avoiding the backlash zone and instantly returning one step, it maximizes casting distance with a smooth trajectory from the middle of the cast to just before landing.

Drag Pull Click
The drag pull click is a mechanism that sounds an audible click when the line is pulled out during a fight with a fish, allowing you to hear the drag engage. When fishing with extremely tight line tension, being able to hear the drag action is a major benefit for anglers. This is an essential feature, especially when fishing with thin PE line.
