Air Stir is a factory's ultimate lightweight racing model, driven to the limit. The concept is to maximize the transmission of information to the hands through the knob's fit and the sensitivity of duralumin. The advantage of lightness is that the knob weight is reduced, which controls the speed variations in winding, enabling a stable slow retrieve.

A new knob made of silicone rubber :

A new standard knob specialized for light game fishing, where retrieving with the fingers pinching the knob is common. The thinnest part in the center is ultra-thin at just 6.1mm. To ensure a fit no matter how it is held, the knob is designed without any unevenness and with a swollen tip to prevent slipping out during unexpected bites. The exquisite softness and fit of the silicone rubber provide a new feeling never experienced before.

DLIVE excels in thorough weight reduction processing. Pursuing the 'lightweight' concept of Air Stir to the extreme, a new billet pattern is adopted to achieve even greater weight reduction. It balances both rigidity and lightness, and has also increased in durability.

The short pitch length of 33mm utilizes the slow start characteristics to prevent excessive winding of line slack (thread slack) caused by wind and tides, without disturbing the lure action, enabling precise range control. Equipped with the original 33mm 'resin ajing knob'. A model packed with dedication to conquering light saltwater fishing.

The 38mm pitch, slightly shorter than the 40mm used standard in the 2000 class, focuses on stable retrieval rather than torque in this finesse model. Recommended for those who want to play the light game more delicately, approach slowly over short distances but do not want to reduce torque too much.

A standard pitch that is easy for anyone to use. It has become the standard pitch length for 2000 class spinning reels.

Recommended for those who do not want to change the winding feel but want to lighten the handle or customize.

The biggest advantage of the long pitch length is improved torque and various other benefits such as quick recovery of line slack. Perfect for scenes where power is advantageous, such as preventing power loss from bottom-dwelling fish at the initial hook and improving handling in stocked trout patterns in area trout fishing.

1. One of the major differences between DLIVE and other models is the use of aluminum/duralumin in the center shaft and knob shaft. The joint areas, where detachment and strength are involved, are treated with 'hard anodizing'.

2. By finishing the traditional aluminum center shaft and stainless joint shaft two-part structure with a minimal one-piece structure made of aluminum and resin parts, significant weight reduction has been achieved. Additionally, the size of the center shaft has been minimized as close as possible to the reel side, achieving a more linear winding feel.

3. The main handle part has achieved both rigidity and lightness by giving it a three-dimensional effect through 3D processing at the limit of strength calculations.

4. All components except for bearings, including the main body, knobs, and boss, are manufactured at our in-house factory, 'DLIVE Manufacturing Factory,' located in Mie Prefecture. Utilizing state-of-the-art machining equipment such as 3D CAD and 5-axis lathe machines, our products are crafted with unparalleled precision.
